Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946 in United States.

He entered the 2016 United States presidential election, held on November 8, 2016, as the candidate of the Republican Party, and was elected president according to the electoral roll method of the United States, even though he was behind Hillary Clinton by about 3 million votes. He was 70 years old when elected, making him the oldest elected US president.

Donald Trump had to drop out of high school for various reasons in the 1960s. In the next period, he studied at the military academy and the Wharton Institute in Pennsylvania.

After his college years, he started working in the real estate and construction company of his father, Fred Trump. In 1971 he became a franchise owner and took control of his father’s companies. He participated in the 2000 elections as the Reform Party presidential candidate, but soon withdrew from the candidacy. He left this party in 2001. He stepped into show business in 2004 by preparing The Apprentice program on NBC. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for some of his statements, but did not win. He was on Forbes‘ list of the 400 richest people in the world in 2016.

Ron DeSantis, 44, began his career as a Federal Attorney after studying history at Yale University and Law at Harvard.

While serving as a legal adviser in the US Navy, he undertook the defense of American soldiers who committed war crimes in Fallujah, Iraq. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2012 and Governor of Florida in 2018.

Combining his hardline Republican rhetoric with populist promises, DeSantis quickly gained ground in Florida‘s local politics.

Creating expectations on issues such as increasing border security, reducing income taxes, restricting the right to abortion in their campaigns; DeSantis, who did not use priority on the climate crisis, pandemic restrictions and health care issues, displayed effective opposition to the Obama administration.

Ron DeSantis, who is constantly in tension with the liberal media, uses Trump’s methods in this area, according to experts, and thus remains on the agenda. According to the polls, if he announces his presidential candidacy from the Republican Party, he is expected to receive great support from within the party.
